- 1 12 oz package egg noodles (optional)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (to taste)
- 20 frozen meatballs
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water and cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour until clumpy, then cook until it starts to turn brown.
- Slowly add beef broth and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Lower heat and let the sauce simmer.
- Microwave meatballs for about 5 minutes, then add to the sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve over cooked noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with parsley if desired.
