  • 1 12 oz package egg noodles (optional)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • 20 frozen meatballs
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Boil water and cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour until clumpy, then cook until it starts to turn brown.
  • Slowly add beef broth and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Lower heat and let the sauce simmer.
  • Microwave meatballs for about 5 minutes, then add to the sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve over cooked noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with parsley if desired.
