  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/8 cup diced garlic
  • 1/8 cup diced ginger
  • 16 oz noodles (spaghetti recommended)
  • 16 oz broccoli
  • For the sauce:
  • 3/4 cup dark soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1/2 cup honey (or brown sugar)
  • ยฝ cup oyster sauce
  • โ…› cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp browning (optional, for color)
  • For the cornstarch slurry:
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. In another bowl, mix water and cornstarch to form a slurry. Gradually mix the slurry into the soy sauce mixture. Set aside.
  • Season beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and ginger.
  • Heat sesame oil in a wok and sear beef until desired doneness. Remove from wok.
  • In the same wok, sautรฉ onions, garlic, and ginger. Add broccoli and noodles, stir-frying on high heat.
  • Gradually add the sauce, stirring constantly to mix well.
  • Return beef to the wok, combine with other ingredients, and cook together briefly.
  • Serve hot.
