Ingredients

Scale

For the Beef

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

For the Pasta

  • 12 oz fettuccine, penne, or your favorite pasta
  • Salt, for boiling water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Garnish

  • Chopped parsley or basil
  • Additional Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with 1 tbsp olive oil to prevent sticking.

2. Cook the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef slices with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear the beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  • Gradually whisk in the heavy cream and beef broth, ensuring no lumps remain. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, nutmeg (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy garlic sauce until well-coated. Add the cooked beef slices and toss gently to combine.

5. Serve

  • Plate the beef pasta and garnish with chopped parsley or basil. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top for extra indulgence.
